Our Story

How It All Began

Always the entrepreneur, in 1996, freshly separated from her husband and unable to make ends meet on child support alone, Brynde' was determined to find a way to support herself and her two kids — and remain a stay-at-home mom.

One day, inspired by her "I can do it" attitude, she decided to use her knowledge of body oils as a platform to launch her business. After being told "no" by store after store, the weight of rejection nearly broke her spirit.

"I told myself I was going to ask one more store — and if they said 'no,' I was going to have to figure out something else. So, armed with just a few small bottles of body oil, I boldly walked into a beauty supply store and asked to speak with the owner." — Brynde' Lambert

What happened next changed everything. The owner smelled her samples, looked up, and said: "Where have you been? I've been looking for you!" He placed the biggest order she could have ever imagined — so big she didn't even have the money to buy the inventory to fill it.

When she called the store owner back and asked for an advance, he declined but told her: "Don't worry — just bring it to me when you have it and I'll take it all off your hands." That store became her very first client and remains a loyal customer to this day.
