This is a very fine and high-quality Cambodian oud with an astonishing complexity and a very pleasing aroma. The scent will appeal to novice and it will delight the seasonal collector. Safi Cambodia starts with a smoky, bitter-sweet sometimes tobacco and woody note, very sweet. This high grade pure Cambodia oud has a brownish color. The oil is extracted from agar wood which has grown near the Thai/Cambodian border. The powerful scent will stay on the skin for a long time.
This fragrance can be worn by itself or layered with other scents.

Oud, Oudh, Aloeswood, Agarwood, Gaharu (different names for the same fragrance) – the Wood of the Gods – is the common name for the tar-like resinous heartwood that forms in the ancient Aquilaria and some Gyrinops species of trees that are native to the dense forests of South East Asia. The fragrance is comprised of many diverse aspects. It is simultaneously pungent, yet very pleasing, invoking warm, smoky notes with tinges of dampened wood. Although subtlety blended with touches of floral and fruit, the predominant scent is musky and sensual. An attar (or ittar) is a natural, rich, potent fragrance oil that is traditionally made from botanical sources, such as flowers (jasmine, rose, sandalwood and more), herbs, spices, barks, or musk oils. These fragrance body oils have natural ingredients and last 3 to 5 times longer than typical Fragrance / Body oil. They are typically imported from Dubai, Spain, Egypt, India, etc. and are considered some of the best perfume oils in the world, especially for those in search of Natural Perfumes.
Attar comes from the Arabic word for fragrance and is the ultimate natural perfume. Our fragrances smell sublime and are made of wholesome genuine materials. Oils can also be expressed by synthetic means but generally natural perfumes which qualify as Attars are distilled naturally. So we insist that a true attar, in keeping with the ancient Muslim tradition of ihsan or excellence, must be made of genuine, quality, natural ingredients. Now these attars will naturally cost much more to produce than synthetic alternatives, but the difference is one of character.
