This MUMTAZ attar is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance for women and men. It is a beautiful golden colored attar, that is exotic, skillfully combining the woody and florals. Sultry, the floral aspect joins forces with the woods and resins to produce an amazing and seductive result. There IS rose, I detect it among the "floral" note, nevertheless it is there. Fresh and sultry in equal measures, this IS a masterpiece! A little going a long way. *Makes great gift, Comes in attractive velveteen gift bag. Bottle and Color Shown in the picture may vary. An attar (or ittar) is a natural, rich, potent fragrance oil that is traditionally made from botanical sources, such as flowers (jasmine, rose, sandalwood and more), herbs, spices, barks, or musk oils. These fragrance body oils have natural ingredients and last 3 to 5 times longer than typical Fragrance / Body oil. They are typically imported from Dubai, Spain, Egypt, India, etc. and are considered some of the best perfume oils in the world, especially for those in search of Natural Perfumes.

At first glance an attar might seem pricey in comparison to modern perfumes or colognes. And if your only concern is price that might be true for you. But fragrances are things we put on our skin. They become part of us (and our loved ones) and so, in addition to price, and how beautiful they smell, we must take into consideration how beautiful they are.
Attar comes from the Arabic word for fragrance and is the ultimate natural perfume. Our fragrances smell sublime and are made of wholesome genuine materials. Oils can also be expressed by synthetic means but generally natural perfumes which qualify as Attars are distilled naturally. So we insist that a true attar, in keeping with the ancient Muslim tradition of ihsan or excellence, must be made of genuine, quality, natural ingredients. Now these attars will naturally cost much more to produce than synthetic alternatives, but the difference is one of character.
On a more practical note, quality ingredients produce strong, supple oils. That means you don’t need to spray a ton of attar to be fragrant throughout your day–a few swipes will usually do. They can also be used just as Body Oil, Scented Oil, Aromatherapy Oil and Essential Oils as well. Plus, you can mix your oils with other personal care and grooming products or even other fragrances for a superb, quality signature scent that’s truly yours.
